Information we collect
Depending on how you use our website and services, we may collect your name, contact details, delivery and billing details, order and payment-status information, messages, appointment information, technical website data, and photographs, artwork or other files that you provide for production.
We do not ask you to send payment-card details directly to us. Card and other online payments are handled through Shopify's checkout and the payment providers displayed at checkout.
Why we use your information
- To answer enquiries and provide quotations.
- To create proofs, manufacture personalised products, fulfil orders, arrange collection or delivery and provide after-sales support.
- To administer Iris appointments and valid gift vouchers without changing the protected booking or voucher service.
- To prevent fraud, secure the website, keep required business records and comply with legal obligations.
- To improve our website and services where this is compatible with your rights.
- To send marketing only where we have valid consent or another lawful basis that applies.
Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, and consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Who processes information for us
We use service providers only where needed to operate the store and fulfil orders. These can include Shopify for ecommerce and hosting; the payment providers shown at checkout; Royal Mail for delivery; Google for business email; Pify for website forms; Uploadly for customer file uploads; Judge.me for reviews; Booster SEO; Shopify Messaging and Search & Discovery; and professional advisers or authorities where legally required.
Some suppliers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we rely on an applicable adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism.
Customer images and retention
Customer photographs and artwork used for production are stored on a company computer and retained for no longer than three months after the relevant work is completed, unless you ask us to delete them sooner and we no longer need them to complete the contract, or a longer period is required to resolve an active issue. They are then securely deleted.
Enquiry records are kept only as long as needed for the enquiry. Order, invoice and transaction records may be retained for the period required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention and legal claims. Different providers may retain limited records under their own legal and security obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies
Strictly necessary cookies support functions such as security, checkout and shopping-cart operation. Analytics, advertising and other non-essential technologies will be used only after any consent required for a UK visitor has been obtained. You can reject non-essential cookies or change your privacy choices through the storefront privacy controls when available.
Your rights
